The Australian Women's Constititional Network is active and those interested to participate are invited to join the we-the-women email list.


WOMEN'S CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION

 

Women's Constitutional Convention
The Women's Constitutional Convention was held at Parliament House, Canberra on Thurs/Fri 29 and 30 January 1998 and was a resounding success. The outcomes of the WCC are on the WCC web site.

The WCC steering committee included the National Women's Justice Coalition as well as representatives of the Women's Electoral Lobby, YWCA of Australia, Women Into Politics, the Australian Constitutional Centenary Foundation (ACT Branch) and Australian Women Lawyers.

Constitutional Convention
The Constitutional Convention was held at old Parliament House in Canberra on 2-6 & 9-13 February 1998. Take this link to the outcomes of the Convention.
