The 21st Annual Conference of the Australia and New Zealand Law and History Society
The Australia and New Zealand Law and History Society is comprised of scholars working in different disciplines who share an interest in the connections between law and history. The theme of this year's conference is Law and Economy in History. In recent years exciting interdisciplinary research has been done on many topics where law intersects with economic life in history. New light has been shed on the interface of law, economy and history. Papers are invited on topics that address this theme. The conference will not be limited to this theme, however, and proposals of papers are also welcome on any area of legal history. The deadline for submission is 31 DECEMBER 2001. Proposals should include a 200 word abstract, a return email address, and a brief CV of the presenter. Proposals should be sent (by post or email) to Andrew Buck.
