Women working together to define the future.
For the first time, the Western Australian Government is holding a Convention for women. The Government wants to hear the views of women on the future for women in this state. Women throughout Western Australia will be asked to share their views on seven themes: health; safety; family care; seniors; law; opportunity; the workplace. Women will also be able to nominate and meet in their own special interest discussion groups during the course of the Convention. The outcome of discussions at the Convention and community forums will form the 'Women's Report' which will be presented to the Honourable Dr Geoff Gallop MLA, Premier of Western Austrlia and the Government for endorsement and public release.
