Global Games: Positioning Australian Agriculture in the Global EnvironmentDate: 22 February 2002 through 25 February 2002Author: nwjc
Australian Women in Agriculture (AWiA), the University of New England and Howlong Continuing Education are presenting a seminar and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of what the increasing globalisation of markets means for rural communities. The workshops aim to ensure that members and the rural community are informed about changes and opportunities for global competitiveness. Presenters will include leading academics, former Deputy Prime Minister Tim Fischer, Key Departments, representatives of Industry Bodies and Producer Groups.
The first workshop will be held in Armidale, NSW on Friday the 22nd of February, and the second in Howlong, NSW on Monday the 25th of February.
