The 9th National Conference for the Association for the Welfare of Child Health

Addressing the impact of the justice system on the health of children, young people and their families.

This is a priority conference for everyone concerned with developments in the psycho-social care of children and young people who experience the justice system.

Eminent national speakers will present keynotes and join conference delegates to discuss the health care needs of:

Children of prisoners
Mandatory sentencing
Indigenous young people
Juvenile justice
Children in detention centres.

Abstracts of papers and posters are being called for. The papers are to be 15 minutes, with five minutes for questions.

Abstracts should be no longer than 200 words and consist of title, author names and affiliations and a brief summary of the content of the paper/poster.

The deadline for abstracts is Friday the 10th of May. Please email your abstract as an attachment file in microsoft word format.
