Standing United: Conference on Substance Misuse in Indigenous Communities

The NISMC specialises in substance misuse within Australia. The NISMC charter is to assist Indigenous communities in the area of substance misuse by highlighting issues on all levels that may impact on their community.

The aim of the conference is to further strenghten the Unity between communities, families and workers in the field of drugs and alcohol.

The conference will focus on the further development of the association, its aim/goals and objectives, with a special emphasis on the future directions/aspirations of the Council. The conference will also provide communities with the opportunity to showcase their services and programs together with rising concerns that affect their services and communities.
