Roundtable on Dialogue Amongst Civilisations

2001 was the United Nations Year of Dialogue Amongst Civilizations. The aims included increasing understanding and acceptance of diversity and peace building. You can read about the Dialogue on the UNESCO web site at:

The Dialogue is being continued in Australia with a further Roundtable being held in the Blue Mountains at the end of August.The roundtable will focus on:
1. Glocalisation (global and localisation): the human cultural, spiritual dimensions.
2. Laying the foundations for dialogue.
3. Planting a seed for a new paradigm in international relations.
4. Interdependence of humankind: our choice: peace or prejudice.
