October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The National Breast Cancer Foundation's Pink Ribbon Day this year is on Monday 28 October. This is the day when all Australians are asked to purchase a pink ribbon in support of breast cancer research. Pink ribbons are available throughout October at major retail outlets.
