The 11th International Women In Leadership Conference, Reimagining Leading: Home and in the Marketplace, will be held 28th to 29th November 2002, at Edith Cowan University, Perth.
The International Women in Leadership Conference this year focuses on leadership as a collaborative, networked and inclusive endeavour. Leadership is often viewed as something acquired as an end result of achieving a specified level of development. This definition of leadership falls behind new ways of thinking. If we visualise leadership horizontally or traversing boundaries to motivate and bring people together, then it can take on a new perspective. Our themes for this year reflect this more inclusive, networked and partnership based mode of leadership. The conference comprises four themes or modules, each a half day in duration. That is:
