Amnesty International Global Human Rights Conference

Running in conjunction with the Sydney 2002 Gay Games Outreach Festival of Ideas and Ideals, the Global Human Rights Conference will focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues (LGBT).

The conference will provide an opportunity for LGBT individuals to share information and ideas with people from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds in an environment that fosters their idealism and enhances the effectiveness of their campaigning.

The Global Human Rights Conference could represent a great leap forward in both the international struggle for LGBT human rights and the empowerment of LGBT individuals.
