Strengthening the
National Network of
Indigenous Women's Legal
Services
The conference found
indigenous women are
still the most legally
disadvantaged group in
Australia. This project,
funded by the Stegley
Foundation and the Lance
Reichstein Foundation is
enabling the NNIWLS to
strengthen the network
and raise awareness of
legal issues facing
indigenous women. The
project aims to see the
development of a
national strategy,
research and a major
increase in resources.
